We decided to brave the icy roads on Saturday to get a picture of the house covered in snow. It was worth the drive. We had our first house guests while we were there. Stacy and Marshal Davis stopped by for the tour. Stacy and I graduated from high school together and they live just down the street. It was great to see them. Our Sunday appointments were rescheduled for Tuesday afternoon. Today we met with the cabinet man, the low voltage man, the electrician, the door man and Steve and Tony (the builders). I don't think we have ever made that many decisions at one time! Bath tubs are here for Lyndsey's room and the guest bath. Both fireplaces have been installed. The heating and air guys have been very busy running duct work. Hot water heaters and shingles have arrived. There are bags of insulation everywhere. Things are moving very quickly. According to the inspector, the house is 39% complete. Not too bad for just a few short weeks in the midst of bad weather, huh? We paid our first draw today, the biggest check I have ever written. Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Wow!!! So exciting! It's going to be a georgeous home, Jeri Lyn! It will be finished in no time! Stop by and check us out!
