On Sunday, David and the kids climbed up a makeshift ladder and toured the 2nd floor. Tanner and Lyndsey were thrilled to be in their rooms. We have to have our paint colors selected by tomorrow, so we headed to the mall to look for new bedding. I am shocked to say that everyone found exactly what they were looking for. Can you believe it? It was a very successful shopping trip. Everyone has selected their bedroom color except Lyndsey and she has narrowed her choices down to a very hot pink, a very lime green and a very bright blue. I know that whatever she chooses, it will suit her perfectly!
A big surprise......We thought we were getting glue down hardwood floors. We didn't realize that they had already figured nail downs in our budget (which is what I really wanted from the start). We are thrilled!!!! We are temporarily living in David's grandmother's house. It is around 60 years old, but for the most part her hardwood flooring is absolutely gorgeous! It just has so much character and has stood the test of time. Have I said lately how impressed I am with our builder?
Here are some of the choices we have made so far:
