Just thrilled to see what each day brings

I can hardly wait for 3:15 every day so we can drive by and see how the house is coming along. Today it looks like they are finished with the rafters. I have been very nervous about what the outside is going to look like, since it is a plan that we've never been able to walk through. But everytime we go by, I love it more and more. Very soon we will have to let the builder know exactly where we want brick and where we want stone. The more they get done, the easier that decision will be.

This is today's front view.

This is the view as you exit the subdivision. From this side you can see the side load 2 car garage, David's front load 1 1/2 car garage and the small covered side entry.

This is the view as you enter the subdivision. I wasn't sure at first about having the corner lot, but I think I like it. The lower roof line on the right is the master bedroom and bath. Tomorrow I'll wade the mud again and get pictures of the back porch.

We dropped by the office to make our final paint choices today. Lyndsey ended up going with a pink called Heart's Desire (Porter 236-7). It is very bright, but I think it will be gorgeous with her black and white bedding. Tanner decided that he would rather have a shade darker so his room will be Baritone (Porter 454-5). Good choice!

I also made a last minute decision to paint the keeping room a pumpkin color (Ginger root - Porter 224-6). The swatch is rather bright, but I think it will be nice on the wall.
