Let me just say that baseball season has started! Need I say more? It's been a few days and the progress is amazing. All the cabinets are in and they are beautiful. Steve, from The Granite Shop, was here yesterday measuring for the countertops. They should be installed sometime next week. The trim guys have been very busy. The closet shelving has been done. Lyndsey said that you could park a car in my closet. (You can never have too much storage, right?) Baseboards, crown molding, window and door trim and the coffered ceiling have all been done. Both fireplaces now have mantles. The laundry chute doors have been installed, as well as the beautiful bench with hooks. The hooks are a little high, Lyndsey will have to grow a tad to be able to hang her backpack there!:)
There's still a little more trim to be done, floors to be sanded and stained, walls and ceilings to be painted, tile and carpet to be put down, driveways and porches to be poured and landscaping to be done. Yesterday Tony estimated 6 more weeks. Here's hoping time flies!!!
Got a call from the painter tonight. Primer goes up this weekend. Color is on its way! Can't wait.
