Doors and windows have arrived! I have never been so excited to see doors in my life. Both floors are wrapped, so it is no longer a see through house. The roof decking is finished. By the time David got home from work, the front doors and many of the downstairs windows were actually installed. It was already dark, so I'll have pictures tomorrow. The stairs have been built and I made my first trip to the 2nd floor. (It was too dark for pictures.) Most of the bracing has been removed inside and it is much easier to get a feel for the house. We are scheduled to meet the cabinet man on Sunday to walk through and make the final decisions on cabinetry. Snow, sleet, freezing rain and ice are still in the forecast for Thursday night and Friday. Things may come to a screeching halt soon, but so far things are moving along much faster than we ever dreamed.
