It has been so much fun watching the brick go up. Everything is coming together beautifully. The metal roof (for over the front porch and the garage window) is here and will be installed shortly. The brick should be complete any day now. Garage doors have been ordered and lighting has been picked out.
We did have one small hitch with the brick. Apparently the brick company stamps its name on the end caps of some of the bricks. David was inspecting the brick and noticed that the Acme name is showing in several places around the house. This is quite funny since I am the one with the OCD reputation. David made a quick phone call to Tony and those bricks will be cut out and replaced. Clearly I am not the only one in the family with OCD tendencies! I love it!!! :)
We pulled up on Tuesday after school to find the insulation truck and the sheetrock truck. They have been very busy. The outside walls get a double dose......sprayed insulation and the regular kind too. Sheetrock should begin tomorrow. I took lots of pictures.
